PENTAGON MARITIME FOUNDATION INC. (PMFI) is non-stock, non-profit organization, founded in October 2002, licensed by the Security Exchange Commission (SEC) whose certificate of corporation was issued on the 13th day of November 2002 with SEC Reg. No. CN2002259961. It

was established by the group of Merchant Marine Officer and inspired by their willingness

and determination to build an institution under the laws of the Republic of the

Philippines.



Pentagon Maritime Foundation Inc. is totally committed to achieving the highest Management

standards with particular emphasis placed upon continuous upgrading and improvement of

skills of our personnel in order to ensure Customer-Care and provide Client-Related

Requirements. We are committed to enhance clientele requirements through continual

improvement and effectiveness of the Quality Management System.

Our Quality Management System exemplifies constant drive to satisfy our clientele, while

always being mindful of our responsibility to Philippine Legislation, Standards, Employees

and the broader community. This involves encouraging the active participation, endeavour

and contribution of ideas from all personnel, while high standards of work will be achieved

by operating a Quality Management System that meets the requirements of ISO 9001:2008.

PMFI's commitment to Quality will include but not limited to the provision of qualified

technical and non-technical personnel, availability of infrastructure and safe working

environment, institutionalize safeguards against all identified risks, evaluating Audit

results, analysing the cause of non-conformances and evaluating the effectiveness of

corrective actions.

The Quality Policy is appropriate for the purpose of the Organisation and provides the

framework for establishing objectives, which are then reviewed.

The Management System will allow business decision-making processes to control and monitor

risks and verify adherence to performance standards. Compliance with this Policy,

Objectives and associated Procedures is mandatory and binding upon all Employees. Quality

is the responsibility of everyone working for an on behalf of Pentagon Maritime Foundation

Inc.

Client Satisfaction and the Good Name of the Company are directly dependent upon this

working philosophy. The Quality Assurance Representative (QAR) has the responsibility and

authority to co-ordinate, develop and monitor the implementation and effectiveness of the

Quality System and for ensuring that the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 are met and

continuously improved.

The goal of Pentagon Maritime Foundation Inc. is to provide the highest quality of learning

education by bringing the gap between the classroom and workplace through the use of

technological advances, highly competent instructors and effective systems all within the

framework of practical pricing which aims to produce total satisfaction for all end users.
